Benjamin Thorn

(b. 2001, Colchester) I am an artist and designer currently based in London whose artistic practice involves the design and creation of virtual environments as interface for software musical instruments. Informed by anarchist thought, I utilise these tools in both gallery and performance contexts, exploring the politics of aesthetics in alienation and obscurantism through sonic world building and fictioning. My performance practice under the alias ‘my grey leaving’ has led to performances at venues across London (Corsica Studios, Avalon Cafe, Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes), and has been played across online radio stations (Refuge Worldwide, AAJA, Noods Radio).
